Overview
Before using PSA Core Financials, you must configure required columns on your Portfolio board in monday.com.
Your Portfolio board is the board that contains one item per project.
Required Columns
Create the following columns on your Portfolio board.
1. PSA Planned Revenue
- Column Type: Numbers
- Format: Currency (USD recommended)
- Purpose: Total planned revenue for the project
Example values: - 50000 - 125000
2. PSA Planned Effort
- Column Type: Numbers
- Purpose: Total planned hours for the project
Example values: - 200 - 500 - 1000
3. PSA Planned Timeline
- Column Type: Timeline
- Configuration: Start and End dates
- Purpose: Project start and end dates
Example: - Mar 1, 2025 → Jun 30, 2025
Important: This must be a Timeline column, not a duration or numbers field.
4. Service Type
- Column Type: Status or Dropdown
- Purpose: Type of service being delivered
You may customize these options to match your services.
Naming Guidelines
For best results, use the exact column names listed above.
The app will look for columns starting with "PSA" first.
Column names are not case-sensitive.
Before Continuing
Make sure:
- All required columns exist on the Portfolio board
- Each project item has values for Revenue and Timeline
- Timeline includes both a start and end date
